The window jumps erratically while navigating, auto syntax messes up in some cases, pointers for selecting text disappear (sometimes)

Describe the bug / provide steps to reproduce it

The video below shows three issues (in order):

• When you press on empty space (so, at the end of a line) to navigate the code window jumps the cursor line to the bottom.. when it should just put the cursor there and not change the location of the current window (the scroll bars are there for a reason...)
• When you go to the end of a a line (not at the end of white space) and attempt to make a new line above, it will add additional white space to the initial line for no reason. (for .kt files)
• When selecting text, the pointer things to expand/contract thr selection randomly just disappear.

1st and 3rd is a chromium bug . So we workaround it somehow so it will be not as natural but it works.

I think 3rd one can be fixed by removing the highlight matching selection, we'll add option for that.

2nd is bit strange we'll check it.
