Hey, I'm Connor Sample. I started programming around 2014, and over the years I've worked with a wide variety of technologies. I'm most proficient in Rust and Python, but I have experience using many other languages such as C, Java, TypeScript, and Bash to name a few. I'm a fast learner and I pick up new languages and concepts fairly quickly. As an avid advocate for open-source and Linux, I am LFCS certified and have been managing both desktop and server environments since 2020. I'm currently a student at James Madison University pursuing a degree in Computer Science with a minor in Music. After I graduate, I hope to pursue a low-level role in OS development, firmware, networking, or Linux sysadmin. Other than technology, I also really love music. I'm primarily a percussionist, but I also play guitar and tuba. I've been playing music since 2015 and I've played in a variety of ensembles, including the MRDs and concert band at JMU.
