Description

The Apple messaging plugin registered for remote notifications and forwarded the APNs token to Firebase Messaging at launch even when FirebaseMessagingAutoInitEnabled was NO. This defers APNs registration and token forwarding until auto-init is enabled, preserving the documented opt-in flow.
