I've updated the mdbook-external-links to point to a maintained fork (where I've merged the PR to support mdbook 0.5.2). However, now the preproc we inherited from Pan Docs is broken and should probably be updated to support mdbook 0.5.2 https://github.com/gbadev-org/tonc/tree/master/preproc
