Summary

Documents the new per-organization CORS allow-list managed in the Lightdash UI, and updates the LIGHTDASH_CORS_ENABLED default.

Changes

  • references/react-sdk.mdx: added "Option 1: From the UI" steps for managing CORS origins (exact, wildcard subdomain, and regex modes) under Project settings → Embed configuration → CORS, and clarified that CORS is now on by default.
  • self-host/customize-deployment/environment-variables.mdx: updated LIGHTDASH_CORS_ENABLED default to true and noted that LIGHTDASH_CORS_ALLOWED_DOMAINS is merged with per-organization origins configured in the UI.

Context

Triggered by upstream PR lightdash/lightdash#24103, which adds a per-organization CORS configuration panel and flips the instance-level default to enabled.
